So, as anyone who looks at this knows (does anyone actually look at my football picks?) I was working last Saturday and therefore had to send my picks to Amanda and have her post them for me. She’s a jack-of-all-trades. I haven’t actually kept track of my record on the season. Let’s pause from this post to see how I did last week and the week before…
9/20 picks: 37-17 (This seemed much worse as I went game-by-game than the final record indicates. Still, I’d like the gap between these two numbers to be larger. And yes, I’m typing this in real time. I haven’t calculated last weeks record yet). For those of you wondering, Amanda went 32-22. Not bad considering she picked some crazy upsets based on the fact that she had never heard of some of the schools.

I did not pick a Game O’ The Week because there isn’t one. I also didn’t pick a real upset. I came close to Colorado over Texas. Also, watch out for the Texas Tech/KState game. And then there’s the pesky Baylor Bears. And Nebraska isn’t bad. Here’s my fearless prediction: One of the Top 10 Big XII teams (Mizzou, OU, Texas, and TTech) will lose this weekend. And yes, I know I just contradicted my picks.
